Cagliari the Municipal Art Gallery

At the feet of the ancient Castello quarter at the end of a tree-lined promenade, lies the quiet area of the Municipal Modern Art Gallery of Cagliari. Its magnificent Gardens of naturalistic importance belong to the city from 1840 and host century old plants like the Jacaranda and two specimens of Ficus. Legal Civil Weddings are celebrated under the cool shade of the Trees or the Gallery Entrance.

In Sardinia you can really find places out of time, of eternal beauty. But there are some places that are unique even inside the island itself. Places that take your breath away, like the Nebida Belvedere or the mine of Porto Flavia, near the town of Iglesias: here you can get married surrounded by the power of an uncontaminated natural landscape. Like in a movie, like a postcard: a real special wedding.

The mine of Porto Flavia

a futuristic work on the promontory of Masua. A unique engineering work built between 1922 and 1924 at 37 meters height to load minerals directly onto the ships.

Today the site belongs to the mining archaeology and may be visited with guided Tours.

The entrance overlooks the sea and faces the Pan di Zucchero, a natural monument 132 meters high, shaped by the power of the wind and the sea. Here on the entrance terrace and with a stunning view to the sea, legal civil weddings are celebrated.

Your Wedding in Sardinia

MARMILLA ANCIENT VILLA

Tuili Marmilla Region - Ancient Villa

Not far from Cagliari, surrounded by the lush and green rolling hills of the Marmilla, territory of Nuraghe and century old olive trees lies Tuili. At the feet of the basalt plateau of the Giara, this small village with its 1000 inhabitants, where the most know each other, still shows evidence of the past in its historic centre with peasant stone houses with courtyards and elegant properties, almost all with doorways of the late-19th century. In one of these villas, built in the early nineteenth century as the residence of the marquis and doctor of the aristocratic family of the Asquer, we celebrate your civil wedding under the shade of the olive trees. This location is the perfect choice for those who love country chic weddings in a romantic venue.

Guspini – Mine District – The Directorate Palace
Sardinia was known for its mineral sources since 200 years BC, raising to industrial levels during mid 19th century since to the last century. The several mine sites in the Mountain area in South-West Sardinia have been converted in mining archaeology preserving this important cultural, architectural and industrial heritage from deterioration and collapse. Not far from Cagliari and at about 10 km uphill from Guspini extends the mining area of Montevecchio, testimony of the important mining activity carried out from 1848 until 1991.
Once in the village of Gennas, better known as Montevecchio and surrounded by wood, you find yourself in front of the numerous service buildings (from schools to the hospital), among which stands the Management building, completed in May 1878, it housed the general manager's family lodgings.
The small palace, richly furnished, is a magnificent instance of upper-class mansion of 1800 and is rich in Art-Nouveau frescoes. Particularly interesting are the decorations of the Blue Hall, a wide room with pavilion vault, entirely frescoed with floral motifs, feminine figures and birds.
Since 2013, the Palazzo of the Management, which has become the Municipal House, may be visited and the celebration of civil weddings can be held on the ground floor and in the Blue Hall.
A unique wedding location, in a ancient surreal and well preserved mine village surrounded by woodlands leading from Montevecchio to the dunes of Piscinas. Wild nature, the mystery of the past and an elegant Venue will make it and unforgettable day.
